What to expect in therapy
At Thinkit Health, we strive to deliver a smooth and transparent experience. All questions are welcome. Prior to your session, you'll review and sign our policies and procedures and complete a brief assessment. Each session occurs over a secure, online video platform. You can access your sessions on a computer, tablet, or mobile phone. You'll need a private place and a good Wi-Fi connection. Many also find it helpful to take notes.
Your first session will include an overview of the treatment process. You'll be asked to share about your treatment needs and goals as well as reasons for change. In the following sessions, you'll explore what drives your behavior and what you may do to change.
Change may seem daunting at first. In therapy, you'll take the necessary small steps to achieve your goals and work through setbacks as they occur. You'll see that successful change and a better life are possible.
